| Kaitlyn: | i'm really pysched to see against me! as a girl-fronted band. |
| Me: | And honestly, for someone like me, who is supportive by not necessarily exposed very often to trans people, it's really good. |
| Kaitlyn: | yeah, since against me! was like, your idol band. |
| Me: | Like, recognizing my own subconscious biases, I'm really happy that a band that means a lot to me has a trans singer. Not to make this about me, because it's not, but I think it's good. |
| Me: | I hope it's good for a lot of people. |
| Kaitlyn: | yeah. |
| Me: | I dunno. I hope that's not shitty. |

I’ve seen REFUSED play three times in the past 28 hours, including a secret show tonight at a tiny DIY venue in Brooklyn — all side by side with my best friend. My voice is gone. Best two days of my life.

Just heard Space Gallery in Portland is hosting the What Cheer? Brigade on Sat., Sept. 10. Here’s a snippet of their appearance at the Machias Blueberry Festival a couple of years ago.
I saw them later that night at the Blackfly Ball, and have seen them a few times since. The show at SPACE is going to be awesome. I LOVE What Cheer?.
